Recipe Description

Sweet and Sour Chicken Curry

Prep. Time: 15min.
Cook Time: 30min.
Serve: 4.

Ingredient                   Quantity
Oil                              for cooking
Mustards seeds        1 Tsp.
Cumin seeds            1 Tsp.
Curry leaves             15-20 No.
Onion chopped         2 No.
Ginger garlic paste   1 Tsp.
Tomato chopped       1 Cup
Salt                           to taste
Coriander powder     2 Tbsp.
Turmeric powder      ½ Tsp.
Garam masala         1 Tsp.
Red chilly powder    ½ Tsp.
Tamarind pulp          ¼ Cup
Jaggery grated         1 Tbsp.
Chicken boneless     500 Gm.
Coriander leaves chopped 1 Tbsp.
Water                        as required

Method:
1. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and mustard seeds in it.
add curry leaves and onion in the pan
sauté it till it turns pink for 2-3 min.

Add ginger garlic paste and sauté for 2-3 min.
then add tomatoes and salt in the pan.
sauté it for 4-5 min.

2. Add coriander powder, red chilly powder,
turmeric powder, garam masala.
sauté is for 3-4 min. till oil separates.

3. Add tamarind paste, jaggery and mix well.
let it cook for a while.

4. Add boneless chicken in the pan and
sauté for 3-4 min. then add coriander leaves
and mix well.

5. Add water in the pan, put the lid on the pan
and let it cook for 10-12 minutes.
garnish it with lemon and coriander leaves.
