Recipe Description

Ingredient          Quantity
Oil                          1 Tbsp
Asafetida                a pinch
Cumin seeds          ½ tsp
Carom seeds          ¼ tsp
Ginger chopped       1 tbsp
Green chilli chopped 2-3
Onion                       1 chopped
Chana dal boiled      1 cup
Red chilli powder      1 Tsp
Coriander powder     1 Tbsp
Garam masala          1 tsp
Dry mango powder   1 tsp
Salt                            to taste
Coriander chopped   2 tbsp
Bread slices              6-8

Method
1.Heat oil in a pan add asafetida, cumin seeds, carom seeds , ginger and sauté for 1 mins.
2.Add green chilli chopped, onion and sauté for 1 mins
3.Add chana dal and mix well.
4.Add red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, dry mango powder, salt, coriander chopped and mix well.
5.Remove the mixture in a plate and keep aside.
6.Take the bread slices and trim the edges. Preserve the bread sides.
7.Take water in a bowl and dip one slice of bread and squeeze excess water.
8.layer the bread slice over a bowl, and press in the center.
9.Take spoonful of filling and place in the center.
10.Dip another bread slice in water and squeeze excess water.
11.Cover the bowl with this bread slices.
12.Using another empty bowl press the bread slices well.
13.Using a knife remove the bread slices from the bowl,
14.Gently shape the bread to seal the edges.
15.Keep this aside and repeat the procedure for remaining bread slices.
16.Heat oil in a deep pan and deep fry the kachoris and the bread sides.
17.Once golden brown remove on absorbent paper.
18.Transfer on to a serving plate .
19.serve along with chutney of your choice
