Recipe Description

Masala Hot Dog

Ingredient                           Quantity
Foot long buns                    1 no.
Oil                                        2 tbsp
Ginger chopped                   1 tsp
Green chilli chopped            2 no.
Onion chopped                    1 no.
Tomato chopped                  1 no.
Salt                                       to taste
Carrot grated                        ¼ cup
Cauliflower grated                ¼ cup
French beans chopped        ¼ cup
Green peas                          ¼ cup
Potato boiled grated             ½ cup
Red chilli powder                  1 tsp
Turmeric powder                  ¼ tsp
Coriander powder                1 tsp
Garam masala powder        1 tsp
Chaat masala                       ½ tsp
Black pepper crushed          ¼ tsp
Red chilli sauce                    2 tsp + 2 tsp
Tomato ketchup                    2 tsp + 2 tsp
Coriander chopped               2 tbsp
Butter                                    2 tsp
Onion cut into Ring               1 no. (Small)
Tomato cut into slices           1 no. (Small)
Cheese grated                      ¼ cup

Method:
1. Heat oil in a wok, add chopped ginger and green chilli, mix well and sauté for 30 sec.
2. Add chopped onion, mix well and sauté for 1 min.
3. Add chopped tomatoes, mix well and sauté for 30 sec.
4. Add salt, mix well and sauté for 1 min.
5. Add grated carrot and cauliflower, mix well and sauté for 2-3 min.
6. Add french beans and green peas, mix well and sauté for 2-3 min.
7. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, chat
masala and black pepper crushed, mix well and sauté for 1 min.
8. Mash the all vegetables well.
9. Add boiled potatoes, red chilli sauce and tomato ketchup, mix well and sauté for 1 min.
10. Add chopped coriander and mix well.
11. Remove in a bowl and keep this in fridge for ½ n hours.
12. Take a foot long bun and make a slit in the centre, and scoop out the white part from
the inside with the help of spoon.
13. Now apply butter, tomato ketchup and red chilli sauce on the inner side of buns and fill
the prepared masala.
14. Arrange the onion and tomatoes on top of masala and put grated cheese on top.
15. Cut the buns into half and toast in hot tava till crisp from base.
16. Remove in serving plate, garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
