Recipe Description

Veg Burger
Ingredient                                   Quantity
Burger Buns                               2 no.
Oil                                              1 tbsp + for frying
Ginger chopped                         1 tsp
Green chilli chopped                  2-3 no.
Onion chopped                          1 no.
Ginger-garlic paste                    1 tbsp
Carrot grated                             1 no.
Cauliflower grated                      ½ cup
French beans chopped               6-8 no.
Green peas                                 ¼ cup
Potato grated                              1 no.
Salt                                              to taste
Coriander powder                       1½ tsp
Turmeric powder                        ½ tsp
Red chilli powder                       ½ tsp
Garam masala powder               1 tsp
Black pepper crushed                ½ tsp
Coriander chopped                    1 tbsp
Corn flakes                                1 cup
Bread crumbs                            ¼ cup
Flour                                          ¼ cup
Cheese cube                             2 no.
Cheese slice                             2 no.
Butter                                        2 tbsp
Mayonnaise                              2 tbsp
Mix Lettuce                               1 cup
Onion cut into rings                  1 no.
Tomatoes cut into slice             1 no.
Salt & Pepper                    for sprinkle
Method:
1. Heat oil in a pan, add chopped ginger and green chilies, mix well and sauté for 30 sec.
2. Add chopped onion, mix well and sauté for 2 min.
3. Add ginger-garlic paste, mix well and sauté for 1 min.
4. Add grated carrot, cauliflower and french beans, mix well and sauté for 4-5 min.
5. Add salt, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala powder
and black pepper crushed, mix well and sauté for 2 min.
6. Add green peas and mash well.
7. Add coriander chopped, mix well and sauté for 30 sec.
8. Remove in bowl and keep it aside for 15-20 min.
9. Add grated potatoes and mix well. Keep it aside.
10. Take corn flakes in a plate and crush well.
11. Add bread crumbs and 1 tbsp of flour and mix well. Keep it aside.

12. Take 2-3 tbsp of flour in a bowl, add water, mix well and make thin slurry. Keep it aside.
13. Take remaining flour in a plate, now take one portion of prepared mixture make it round
and roll it in flour than dip in slurry and coat with corn flakes mixture and make a tikki
shape.
14. Keep this patty in the fridge for 10 min.
15. Remove and put in slurry and coat again with corn flakes mixture. Keep it aside.
For Crunchy Cheese Ball:
16. Take a small amount of remaining mixture and make it into a round. Flatten the
round and put cheese cubes in the center.
17. Bring the ends together and make into a ball again.
18. Dip this in slurry and roll in the corn flakes mixture. Keep it aside.
For Railway Cutlet:
19. Take prepared vegetables mixture and shape it into flat oval.
20. Add little flour in slurry, mix well and make a thick batter.
21. Dip the cutlet in slurry and roll in the corn flakes mixture.
22. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai and fry the prepared patty burger, crunchy cheese ball and
cutlet till crisp and golden brown.
23. Remove in absorbent paper and keep it aside.
24. Take fried burger patty in a plate, place cheese slice on top and microwave it for 30 sec.
25. Take burger buns cut into half.
26. Heat butter in a pan, place burger bun on it and toast them lightly.
27. Mean while take serving plate, put some salad on it and place the prepared cutlet and
cheese ball on it and keep it aside.
28. Remove the burger buns from the pan and place it on the surface.
29. Now apply mayonnaise on the bottom side, place the lettuce on the top of mayonnaise,
place onion rings on top of lettuce, sprinkle some salt and pepper than place tomato
again sprinkle some salt and pepper on top of tomato slice.
30. Now place veg patty on top of tomato slice, put lettuce and add mayonnaise on top and
cover with an upper half of the bun, press it lightly and put stick on it.
31. Place it on serving plate and serve hot with tomato ketchup.
