Recipe Description

Ingredient                                 Quantity
For Kadai Masala:
Coriander Seeds                      1 tbsp
Cumin seeds                            1 tsp
Fennel seeds                           ½ tsp
Black peppercorn whole          1 tsp
Dry Red chilli                            1 no.
For Gravy:
Paneer cut into triangle shape 200 gm.
Oil                                            2-3 tbsp
Dry red chillies                         2 no.
Coriander seeds                      1 tsp
Onion chopped                        2 no.
Ginger garlic paste                  1 tbsp
Tomato chopped                      3 no.
Salt                                          To taste
Coriander powder                    2 tsp
Turmeric powder                     ¼ tsp
Red chilli powder                    1½ tsp
Garam masala powder           1 tsp
Ginger julienne                       ½ inch
Green chilli slit                        2-3 no.
Onion cube                             1 no. (Small)
Green capsicum cube             1 no. (Small)
Tomatoes cube (seedless)      1 no. (Small)
Water                                       ¼ cup
Fresh Cream                            ½ cup
Coriander chopped                  1 tbsp
Kasoori methi                           1 tsp
Lemon juice                             ¼ no.
Grated cheese                         2 tbsp

Method:

1. Dry roast coriander seeds, cumin seeds, fennel seeds, black peppercorn whole and red chillies
till fragrant.
2. Remove in grinder jar and grind into a coarse powder. Keep it aside.
3. Heat oil in a pan, add dry red chillies and coriander seeds, mix well and sauté for 30 sec.
4. Add chopped onion, mix well and sauté till onion become brown in color.
5. Add ginger garlic paste, mix well and sauté for 1 min.
6. Add chopped tomatoes, mix well and sauté for 5-6 min.
7. After one min. add salt, mix well and sauté for 5 min. or till tomatoes are pulpy.
8. Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and garam masala powder, mix and
sauté for 2 min.
9. Add ginger julienne, green chilli slit, onion cubes, green capsicum cubes and tomatoes cubes,
mix well and sauté for 2-3 min.
10. Add water, mix well and cook for 1 min.
11. Add paneer pieces and mix well.
12. Add fresh cream, mix well and cook for 2 min.
13. Add chopped coriander, kasoori methi and lemon juice, mix well and cook for 1 min.
14. Remove in serving bowl, sprinkle kadai masala and grated cheese on top, garnish with coriander
sprig and serve hot.
