Recipe Description

Ingredient                                                                       Quantity
Whole chicken legs                                                           2 no.
Ginger-garlic paste                                                           1 tbsp
Black peppercorns crushed                                              ½ tsp + ¼ tsp
Green chilli paste                                                              ½ tsp
Salt                                                                                    to taste
Lemon juice                                                                      1 no.
Cashew nuts                                                                    8-10 no.
Carom seeds                                                                    ¼ tsp
Gram flour                                                                         1 tbsp
Green cardamom powder                                                  pinch
Garam masala powder                                                      ½ tsp
Yogurt                                                                                1 tbsp
Fresh cream                                                                      3 tbsp
Red chilli powder                                                               for sprinkle
Chat masala                                                                      for sprinkle
Oil                                                                                      for cooking

Method:
1. Cut the chicken leg into two parts one is thigh part and second is drum stick, now make a 3-4 slit as shown in the video and place it in bowl.
2. Marinate the chicken with ginger-garlic paste, ½ tsp of black pepper crush, green chilli paste, salt and lemon juice, mix well and keep it aside for 20-30 min.
3. Now heat water in a pan, add cashew nuts and boil them for 3-4 min.
4. Remove the cashew nuts in a mixer bowl, add some water and grind to a fine paste. Remove in a bowl and keep it aside.
5. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in pan; add carom seeds and sauté till its splutter.
6. Add gram flour, mix it well and cook for medium flame about 1 Min.
7. Transfer this to the cashew nut paste bowl and mix well.
8. Now add this mixture to the marinated chicken and mix well.
9. Add cardamom powder, garam masala powder, ¼ tsp of black pepper crush and yogurt and mix well.
10. Add fresh cram, mix well and keep it aside for 1-2 hours.
11. Preheat the oven to 240°C for 15 min.
12. Brush the baking tray with some oil and Place the marinated chicken on baking tray and cook for 12-15 min.
13. Flip in between after 6 to 8 mins, put remaining marination and some oil on top and cook again for 5-6 min.
14. Remove from the oven; Place the chicken on serving plates, sprinkle some chaat masala, red chilli powder on top and serve hot.
