Recipe Description

Rara Chicken
Rara Chicken is a juicy Indian Chicken recipe. This chicken gravy tastes best when paired with parotha or rice.

Ingredient                  Quantity
Chicken on bone        500 gm.
Chicken mince            1 cup
Bay leaf                       2 no.
Cinnamon stick           1 inch
Cloves                         3-4 no.
Black cardamom         1 no.
Green cardamoms      4-5 no.
Cumin seeds               1 tsp
Ginger chopped           1 tbsp
Garlic chopped             1 tbsp
Green chillies chopped 4-5 no.
Onion chopped             2 no.(Big)
Tomatoes chopped       3 no.
Red chilli powder          2 tsp
Turmeric powder          ½ tsp
Coriander powder         2 tbsp
Garam masala powder 1 tsp
Black pepper crushed   ½ tsp
Salt                                to taste
Yogurt                            2-3 tbsp
Lemon juice                   ¼ no.
Coriander chopped        2-3 tbsp
Water                             as required
Oil                                  for cooking
Method:
1. Heat 3-4 tbsp of oil in a pan, add bay leaf, cinnamon stick, cloves, black cardamom, green
cardamom and cumin seeds, mix well and sauté for 30 sec.
2. Add ginger, garlic and green chilli chopped, mix well and sauté for 1 min.
3. Add chopped onion, mix well and sauté for 8-10 min.
4. Mean while take chicken kheema in a bowl, add water and mix well. Keep it aside.
5. Add chopped tomatoes in a pan and mix well.
6. Add salt and mix well.
7. Add coriander powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, black pepper crushed and garam
masala powder, mix well and sauté for 2-3 min.
8. Add yogurt, mix well and sauté for another 2-3 min.
9. Add kheema, mix well and sauté for 1 min.
10. Add chicken on bone, mix well and sauté for 20 min., in between add ¼ cup of water and mix
well.
11. Add lemon juice and chopped coriander leaves and mix well.
12. Remove in serving bowl, garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with Chapatti.
