Recipe Description

Sarso laal math ka paratha

Serving –4 nos
Preparation time – 20 mins
Cooking time – 15 mins

Ingredients quantity
Mustard leaves – 1 bunch
Amaranth leaves – 1 bunch
Onion chopped – 1 nos
Ginger chopped – 1 tsp
green chilli chopped – 2-3 nos
ajwain – 1 tsp
coriander seed – 1 tbsp
red chilli powder – ½ tsp + for sprinkle
dry mango powder – 1 tsp
turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
salt to taste
wheat flour – 2 cup
water as required
oil – 2 tsp
ghee as required
chat masala for sprinkle
Method :
1. Take Wash & clean mustard leaves , amaranth leaves roughly chop it and add it in parath .
2. Now add chopped onion ,ginger , green chilli , ajwain .
3. Meanwhile coarsely grind the coriander seed using wooden mortar & pestle add it in the mixture .
4. Now add red chilli powder , dry mango powder , turmeric powder , salt , wheat flour mix it well .
5. Add water as required and knead the soft dough.
6. Once dough is ready apply a spoonful of oil over it , cover it for 30 mins using muslin cloth .
7. Put some wheat flour on work place, take portion of dough roll it in wheat flour and gently roll into
a round shape.
8. Heat a tava on medium heat and place the paratha on it and cook on both the sides.
9. Apply ghee on both the sides and cook flipping sides till evenly golden.
10. Remove in a plate, add some ghee on top of the paratha, sprinkle some red chilli powder, chaat
masala and crush the paratha .
11. Serve hot .
