Recipe Description

Nariyal wali Bhindi

Ingredient                    Quantity
Bhindi                           ½ kg.
Fresh Coconut grated ¼ cup
Oil                                2 tbsp
Mustard seeds            ½ tsp
Cumin seeds               ½ tsp
Asafoetida                   pinch
Green chilli cut into big size 4-5 no.
Urad dal                      1 tsp
Chana dal                   1 tsp
Curry leaves                8-10 no.
Onion chopped            1 no.
Turmeric powder         1 tsp
Red chilli powder        1 tsp
Salt                              to taste
Peanut salted             1 tbsp
Coriander chopped     2-3 tbsp

Method:
1. Wash the bhindi and wipe them dry with a clean kitchen towel.
2. Cut into small slices and keep it aside.
3. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, asafoetida, urad dal and chana
dal, mix well.
4. Add green chillies, curry leaves and chopped onion, mix well and sauté for 1 min.
5. Add bhindi and mix well.
6. Add salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, mix well and sauté for 12- 15 min.
7. Meanwhile coarsely grind the peanuts and keep it aside.
8. Add fresh coconut and crushed peanut, mix well and sauté for 1 min.
9. Add coriander chopped and mix well.
10. Remove in serving bowl and serve hot.
