Recipe Description

Kabuli Chane Ka Halwa

Ingredient                                    Quantity
Kabuli Chana boiled                     1 cup
Water (leftover after boiled)          1 cup
Ghee                                            ½ cup
Jaggery powder                           ½ cup
Ashwagandha powder                 1 tsp
Ginger powder                             1 tsp
Black pepper                               ¼ tsp
Green cardamoms crush             4-5 no.
Almond slice                                5-6 no.

Method:
1. Grind the boiled Kabuli chana into the smooth paste.
2. Heat ghee in a kadai, add grinded Kabuli chana paste, mix well and sauté for 10-12 min.
3. Boil the leftover Kabuli chana water in another pot, add jaggery powder and cardamom crush, mix well and bring to boil.
4. Add half almonds to the grinded Kabuli chana paste and mix well.
5. Add ginger powder, mix well and cook for 1 min.
6. Add jaggery water and mix well.
7. Add black pepper, mix well and cook for 6-8 min. or till mixture is thick.
8. Add ashwagandha powder and mix well.
9. Switch off the flame and keep it aside for 10-15 min. to cool it.
10. Remove in serving bowl, garnish with slice almond and serve.
