Jeera kela

Ingredients                         quantity

Raw banana                           6-8 nos

Salt                                         to taste

Turmeric powder                    1 +1/2 tsp

Asafetida                                 ½ tsp

Cumin seed                            1 ½ tsp

Green chilli chopped               2-3

Coriander chopped                  1 tbsp

Oil                                           2 tbsp

 

Method :

  1. Take 6-8 raw bananas and trim the top and bottom end .
  2. Add salt , turmeric powder and mix well .
  3. Once the pressure cooker is cooled, open and remove the bananas in a bowl and keep aside .
  4. Take 4 of the banana and peel and cut into slices ,keep them aside .
  5. Heat oil in a pan , add asafetida , cumin seed , and sauté for 1 min till cumin browns .
  6. Add green chilli , sliced banana , mix well and saute for 3-4 mins .
  7. Add turmeric powder , salt coriander and mix it well .
  8. Remove from heat and transfer to a serving bowl .serve hot .
