Jain sandwich
Ingredients quantity
Oil 1tbsp
Cumin seed ½ tsp
Banana boiled 2 nos
Green chilli chopped 2-3 nos
Turmeric powder ¼ tsp
Red chilli powder ½ tsp
Garam masala powder ½ tsp
Chaat masala ½ tsp
Salat to taste
Coriander chopped 1 tbsp
Bread slices 4 nos
Veg chilli mayonnaise 2 tbsp
Tomato ketchup 2 tbsp
cheese slice 2 no
method :
- Heat oil in a pan , add cumin , green chilli and sauté for 1 min .
- Peel the banana and add to the pan , and mash the bananas well .
- Add turmeric powder , red chilli powder , garam masala , chaat masala , salt and mix well .
- Add chopped coriander and mix well .
- Remove in a bowl and keep aside .
- Spread four slices of bread on a chopping board .
- Spread equal quantity of veg chilli mayonnaise on two slices of bread .
- Spread tomato ketchup on slices of bread .
- Sprinkle red chlli powder , chaat masala on all slices of bread .
- Add spoonful of banana mixture on ine skices , and spread evenly .
- Place cheese slices on the mixture and cover with the remaining bread slice .
- Heat tawa , add oil and place the sandwich on tawa add butter and toast well from both side .
- Remove on a chopping board and cut into half .
- Serve with chutney of your choice.
