Recipe Description

Chilli Eggs

This is a tasty Recipe that you get in restaurants. This restaurant-style Egg Chilli is a must-try.

Ingredient                        Quantity

Gram Flour (Besan)                1 cup
Corn Flour                               1 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste                  1 tsp
Salt                                           to taste
Red chilli powder                      ½ tsp
Boiled Eggs                               3 no.
Oil                                              for cooking
Oil                                              1Tbsp
Garlic chopped                          1 tbsp
Ginger chopped                          1Tbsp
Green chilli cut into small pieces 4-5 no.
Onion cubes                                   1 no.
Assorted bell peppers                    ¼ each
Corn Flour                                      1 tbsp
Red chilli Sauce                              4 tbsp
Soya Sauce                                    1 tbsp
Vinegar                                           1 tbsp
Salt                                                  to taste
Red chilli powder                             1 tsp
Spring onion cut into small baton     2 no.
Water                                                1Tbsp
Coriander chopped                           1 tbsp
Spring                                                for garnish
Chopped coriander                            for garnish

Method:
1. Take a Mixing bowl, add besan, corn flour, ginger-garlic paste, salt, red chilli powder and water, mix well and make a thick batter. Keep it aside.
2. Cut the boiled eggs into quartered.
3. Heat a pan with some oil and dip each quartered boiled egg in the batter and fry it till golden in a medium flame, Then transfer it to paper tissue and set aside.
4. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in another pan, add chopped ginger, garlic and green chilli and mix well and sauté for 30 sec.
5. Add onion and bell peppers, mix well and sauté for 2 min.
6. Take corn flour and water in small bowl, mix well and make slurry.
7. Add soya sauce, red chilli sauce, vinegar, red chilli powder and salt, mix well and tossed for 1 min.
8. Add half spring onion and 1 tbsp of water and mix well.
9. Add slurry and chopped coriander into the pan and mix well.
