Aloo Matar Tikki
Aloo Matar Tikki, in Hindi आलू मटर टिक्की, is a snack originating from the Indian subcontinent; in North Indian, Pakistani and Bangladeshi preparation, it is made out of boiled potatoes, peas, and various curry spices.

Ingredients                                   Quantity
Green peas                                   1 cup
Oil                                                 1 Tbsp
Ginger, finely chopped                  1 Tbsp
Cumin seeds                                 ½ tsp
Hing (Asafoetida)                          Pinch
Green chilies, finely chopped        2-3 no.
Turmeric powder                            ¼ tsp
Red chilli powder                           ¼ tsp
Garam Masala powder                  ¼ tsp
Chat Masala                                  ½ tsp
Salt                                                to taste
Lemon juice                                    ½ no.
Chopped fresh coriander leaves    2 tbsp
Potatoes Grated ( Boiled)               3 no.
Bread crumbs                                2 tbsp
Corn flour                                      3 tbsp
Salt                                                to taste
Corn flour                                        for sprinkle
Oil                                                   for cooking
Red Chilli Powder                           for Sprinkle
Chat Masala                                    for Sprinkle
Lemon                                              for Garnish
Coriander Sprig                              For Garnish
Green chutney                                 for serving

Method:-
1. Refresh the green peas and crushed them in a mixer. Keep it aside.
2. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a kadai; add Ginger chopped, cumin seeds, hing and green chili chopped, mix well and sauté for 1 minute.
3. Add crushed Green peas, mix well and sauté for 30 sec.
4. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, chat masala and salt, mix well and sauté for 1 min.
5. Remove in bowl, add lemon juice and chopped coriander and mix well. Keep it aside.
6. Take boiled potatoes in a bowl and mash well.
7. Add bread crumbs, corn flour and mix well.
8. Add salt and mix well.
9. Take a plate and dust some corn flour on it.
10. Divide the potato mixture into equal portions.
11. Make cavity in the center of each potato mixture portion, put one portion of green peas stuffing in the center, bring the potato mixture together, seal and shape into tikki. Dust with corn flour and keep it in plate.
