Recipe Description

Chicken Tikka is a great tandoori kabab dish that is ordered the most across the world. Chef Harpal teaches you how to make delicious restaurant style chicken tikka at home in your own barbeque

Chicken Tikka
Ingredients                                     Quantity
First Marination:
Chicken Leg & Breast boneless        300 gm.
Lemon juice                                       ½ no.
Salt                                                      to taste
Black Pepper powder                        ½ tsp.
Red Chilli Powder                              2 tsp. + for sprinkle
Ginger Garlic Paste                           1 tbsp.
Second Marination:
Oil                                                      2 tbsp.
Carom Seeds                                    ½ tsp.
Gram Flour                                        2 tbsp.
Turmeric Powder                               ½ tsp.
Yogurt                                                3 tbsp.
Mustard oil                                         2 tbsp
Kasoori methi crushed                       1 tsp + for sprinkle
Garam masala powder                       1 tsp
Chat Masala                                        for sprinkle
Method:-
1.Slice the chicken breast & leg and place it in bowl.
2. Add lemon juice, ginger garlic paste, salt, black pepper powder and red chilli powder, mix well and keep it aside for 15 min.
3. Heat oil in a pan; add carom seeds and sauté till its splutter.
4. Add gram flour, mix it well and cook for medium flame about 1 Min.
5. Add turmeric powder and keep it aside.
6. After 15 min. add yogurt in a bowl and spread well.
7. Add cook gram flour and mix it well.
8. Add mustard oil and mix well.
9. Add kasoori methi and mix well.
10. Add garam masala powder and mix well and keep it aside for 1 hour.
11. Preheat the oven at 230 c for 15 min.
12. After one hour, Insert the chicken pieces in the skewers
13. Grease the baking tray with little oil and place the marinated Chicken on it and bake for 10-12 min.
14. After 10-12 min. remove the chicken from the oven, place it on serving plate.
15. Sprinkle some kasoori methi, red chilli powder and chaat masala on top and serve hot with some salad and green chutney.
