Paneer Tikka

Paneer Tikka
Ingredient                     Quantity

For Marination:
Paneer                                 200 gm.
Carom seeds (Ajwain)          ½ tsp.
Gram Flour (Besan)              2 tbsp.
Ginger and garlic paste         2 tsp
Black pepper crushed           1 tsp
Turmeric powder                   ½ tsp.
Red Chilli powder                  1½ tsp.
Garam masala powder          1½ tsp.
Kasoori Methi crushed           1 tbsp + for sprinkle
Salt                                         to taste.
Curd                                        3 Tbsp.
Mustard oil                              3 tbsp
Onion                                      1 no.
Tomato                                    2 no.
Green Capsicum                    1 no.
Oil                                            2 Tbsp
Butter                                       for basting
Chaat masala                          for sprinkle
Method:-
1. Heat oil in a pan; add ajwain and cook for 30 sec.
2. Add gram flour, mix it well and cook for low flame about 2 Min.
3. Add turmeric powder and mix well. Keep it aside.
4. Cut the capsicum into cube size.
5. Deseed the tomatoes and cut into cube size.
6. Cut onion into cube size. Separate the layers of the onion.
7. Cut the paneer into cube size and place it in on the bowl along with onion, tomato and green capsicum.
8. Add black pepper crushed, ginger- garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala, curd, kasoori methi, salt and cooked gram flour and mix well.
9. Add mustard oil and mix well.
10. Thread on to satay sticks in this manner: Paneer cubes, capsicum, tomato, onion, Repeat the order once more and end with a cottage cheese cube
11. Preheat the oven to 210°C for 10-15 min.
12. Grease the baking tray with little oil and place the marinated paneer on it and bake for 8-10 min.
13. After 8 min. remove paneer from the oven brush some butter on top.
14. Place the Paneer Skewers in the serving plate, sprinkle some chat masala and kasoori methi, pour some butter on top and serve hot with salad and green chutney.
