Recipe Description

This Indian Stir Fried vegetable/Subzi is made from fresh raddish and raddish leaves, is a complete homestyle recipe, that i used to relish when my mother would make during winters. It is loaded with nutrients and is a very healthy vegetarian Indian curry dish

Ingredients
Raddish with leaves-                   1 no
baby potatoes –                          10-12 no
Oil                                                2 tbsp
cumin seeds                                ½ tsp
carom seeds                               ½ tsp
ginger chopped                           1 tbsp
garlic chopped                             1 tbsp
green chilli                                   3-4
onion chopped                            1 no
salt                                               to taste
red chilli powder                           ½ tsp
turmeric powder                           1 tsp
coriander powder                         1 tbsp
garam masala                              1 ½ tsp
dry mango powder                       1 tsp
tomatoes chopped                       2 no

Method

Separate the raddish while preserving the leaves, peel and cut raddish into small cubes. keep aside.

heat oil in a pan add 2 tbsp oil, add carom seeds, cumin seeds and saute for 1 mins

Meanwhile Wash potatoes well and cut into quarters and keep aside.

In the pan add ginger, garlic, green chilli, and saute for 1 mins

Add onion and saute for 2-3 mins

Add radish , potatoes, Saute well for min. Add salt , turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, garam masala,dry mango powder and mix well. cover and cook for 10-12 mins.

Meanwhile chop radish leaves and keep aside.

Add tomatoes Saute well, And Cover&Cook for 4-5 mins.

add radish leaves , mix well. cover and cook for 6-8 mins

Remove in serving bowl and garnish with coriander sprig. serve hot with parathas of your choice.
