Recipe Description

Til ka halwa

Ingredients                         quantity
Seasame seed(soaked)    ½ cup
Water                                 1 ½ cup
jaggery                               1 cup
Ghee                                  ½ cup
Cardamom powder             1 tsp
Khoya                                 ½ cup
Almonds (chopped)            2 tsp
Method :
1. Take a bowl and soak seasame seed over night .
2. Grind the soaked seasame seeds into smooth paste . Keep it aside.
3. In a pan , bring water to boil , add jaggery and cook it until it gets syrup consistency ,
keep it aside .
4. In a thick bottom kadhai , add ghee and seasame seed paste and cook it on a medium
heat for 20 mins , stir continuously to avoid lumps .
5. Cook it until its golden brownish in color .
6. Add jaggery syrup and cook mixture for about 15 mins .
7. Cook it until it gets thick and get the consistency of halwa .
8. Add cardamom powder , almond ,khoya , and mix it well .
9. Once the mixture turns thick off the flame
10. Transfer it into serving plate , garnish with almonds , and let it cool
11. serve it .
