Recipe Description

Multigrain Barfi

Ingredient                             Quantity
Ghee                                       4 tbsp + for grease
Cashewnuts chopped             1 tbsp + for garnish
Almond chopped                     1 tbsp + for garnish
Pistachio chopped                   1 tsp + for garnish
Nachni Flour                            ½ cup
Oats Flour                                ½ cup
Jowar Flour                              ½ cup
Rajgira Flour                            ½ cup
Nutmeg Powder                       pinch
Green Cardamom powder       1 tsp
Black pepper crush                  ½ tsp
Ginger powder                         1 tsp
Jaggery grated                        1¼ cup
Khoya                                      ¼ cup

Method
: 1. Heat ghee in a pan, add Cashewnuts, almond, pistachio, nachni flour, oats flour, jowar flour and rajgira flour, mix well and sauté for 10-12 min. on low flame.

2. Add nutmeg powder, green cardamom powder, black pepper crush, ginger powder and grated jaggery, mix well and sauté till jaggery is completely melted.

3. Add khoya, switch of the flame and stirring vigorously and quickly till khoya melts.

4. Grease the tray with ghee.

5. Transfer the prepared mixture on to the greased tray, pat to level and keep it aside for 2-3 hour.

6. When cool and set, unmould and cut into desired sized pieces, garnish with nuts and serve
