Recipe Description

Gur ki Roti

Milk                                  1 cup
Cardamom powder          1/4 tsp
Fennel powder                 1 tsp
Black pepper crushed      1/4 tsp
Jaggery                            1/2 cup
Wheat flour                       3 cup
Ghee                                 for cooking

Method
Heat milk in a pan, once the milk starts to boil remove in a mixing bowl.
Add cardamom powder, fennel powder, black pepper , jaggery and mix well, untill jaggery melts.
Add wheat flour and mix well and knead a dough.
Rub 1 tsp of ghee on the dough and knead well. Let the dough rest for a while.
Divide the dough into equal portions and make small balls.
Sprinkle flour on the chopping boards and Roll the balls into paratha.
Sprinkle flour and apply 1 tbsp of ghee and fold from sides first and then from top , into square shape.
Using rolling pin flatten the paratha and place on the heated tawa.
Cook well till golden brown from both sides on medium flame.
Apply 1 tsp of ghee on both sides and cook well.
Remove in a plate and crush with your palms .
Serve with jaggery and mango pickle on the side.
