Recipe Description

Paneer Butter Masala

Serving – 4 pax
Preparation time – 10 mins
Cooking Time – 25 mins

Ingredient                       Quantity
Onion                              1 nos + 1 nos
Tomatoes                        4-5 nos + 1 nos
Water                              as required
bay leaf                           2 nos
Cloves                             2-3 nos
Green cardamom            4 nos
Black cardamom             1 nos
Ginger garlic paste          1 tbsp
Salt                                   to Taste
Cashew                            6-7 nos
Oil                                    1 tbsp
Butter                               1 tbsp + 1 tbsp
Ginger julienne                ½ inch
Green chilli slit                 3 nos
Turmeric powder             ¼ tsp
Red chilli powder             1 tbsp + ½tsp
Garam masala                 1 tsp
Paneer                             250 gm + for garnish
Coriander leaves             1 tbsp + for garnish
Cream                             ½ cup+ for garnish

Method :
1. Cut the Onion, tomatoes into cube size add it into the kadhai .
2. Now add water ,bayleaf , cloves , green cardamom , black cardamom , ginger garlic paste , salt , cashew and
cook it for 15-20 mins on low flame .
3. Meanwhile chop onion , tomato and keep it aside .
4. Once the mixture is totally cooked , keep it aside .
5. Heat a pan , add oil , butter , ginger julienne , green chilli slit mix it well for 30 seconds .
6. Now add chopped onion , sauté it for about 3-4 mins until golden brown .
7. Meanwhile grind the tomato mixture and keep it aside .
8. Now add chopped tomatoes into the kadhai and mix it well .
9. Now add turmeric powder , red chilli powder , garam masala powder sauté it well for about 1 min .
10. Now add the grinded tomato mixture using strainer , mix it well on low flame .
11. Simultaneously add butter , red chilli powder , close the lid and allow it to cook for 15 mins on low flame .
12. Now cut the paneer in small cubes , keep it asidealong with a small peice .
13. Now chopped the coriander leaves , keep it aside .
14. Now add cream into the mixture and mix it well for 2 mins .
15. Add paneer , coriander leaves , mix it well for 3-4 mins.
16. Transfer the gravy into the bowl , garnish with grated paneer , cream and coriander leaves .
