Recipe Description

Amla muraba
Serving – 4
Preparation time – 10 mins
Cooking Time – 15 mins

Ingredients            quantity
Amla                    250gm
Water                  as required
Sugar                  500gm
Black pepper       ¼ tsp
Black salt             ¼ tsp
Cardamom powder  ¼ tsp
Apple cider vinegar  1 tbsp

Method :
1. Wash and rinse the amla thouroghly .
2. Now prick the amlas using fork at regular interval .
3. In a kadhai , add water bring to boil , add amlas close the lid and cook it for 2 mins .
4. Now strain the amlas and keep aside .
5. In a deep bottom kadhai add blanched amlas , sugar and water allow it to cook on a slow flame .
6. Cook the mixture of amlas and sugar until its 1 string consistency .
7. Transfer it into the bowl and allow it to cool at room temperature .
8. Now add black pepper , black salt , cardamom powder , apple cider vinegar , mix it well .
9. Transfer the mixture in 1 ltr glass jar, close the lid and keep it for 7 days in a dark place .
10. Once its start appearing in light golden colour .
11. Its ready to serve .
