shakarkand Matar Ki Sabji
Ingredient Quantity
Sweet Potato 1 1/2 nos
Green Peas 1 cup
Ghee 2-3 tbsp
Cumin Seed 1 tsp
Ginger Julienne 1 inch
Green Chilli Slit 3-4 nos
Coriander Powder 2 tbsp
Red chilli Powder 1 1/2 tsp
Turmeric Powder 1/2 tsp
Salt To Taste
Water As Required
Lemon Juice 1/2 nos

method :
1.wash and scrape the shakarkand with knife and cut into cube size.
2. Heat ghee in a pan , add cumin seed and saute for 30 sec.
3. Add ginger and green chilli , mix and saute for another 30 sec.
4. Add shakarkand , mix well and saute for 2 min .
5. Add coriander powder , red chilli powder , turmeric powder and salt , mix well and saute for 2 min .
6. Add water , mix well and cover and cook for 12- 15 min .
7. After 10 min , remove the cover and mix well .
8. Add green peas , mix well and cook for 4-5 min,or till mixture is dry .
9. Add lemon juice and mix well .
10. Remove in serving plate , garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot
