Sabudana Vada
Ingredient Quantity
Sabudana soaked 1 cup
Potato Boiled 1 no.
Coriander chopped 2 tbsp
Ginger chopped 1 tbsp
Green chilli chopped 3-4 no.
Senda Namak to taste
Cumin seeds 1½ tsp
Oil for frying
Method:
1. Soaked the sabudana in hot water for 1 hour.
2. Strain and transfer to a bowl, add boiled potato, coriander chopped, ginger chopped,
green chilli chopped, senda namak and cumin seeds, mix the entire mixture very well.
3. Now take some portion of the mixture in your hands and shape them into flat round
vada or patty.
4. Heat oil for deep frying in a kadai.
5. Now gently place the vada in the hot oil, when one side gets golden, flip the vada and
Fry till they are crisp and golden from both the side.
6. Turn over a couple of times so as to fry the sabudana vada evenly.
7. Remove them with a slotted spoon. Place on kitchen paper towels to absorb excess oil.
8. Place it on serving plate and serve hot.
