Recipe Description
How to make a quick Dhokla for breakfast , healthy,vegetarian dish.
Ingredients:-
- Rawa – 1 ½ cup
- Dahi – 11/2 cup
- salt – to taste
- Water – as required
- Green Chillies – 2-3
- Ginger – ½ tsp
- White sesame – ½ tsp
- Red chilli powder – ½ tsp
- Tadka
- Oil – 1 tsp
- Red chilli whole – 2-3
- Mustard seeds – ½ tsp
- Cumin seeds – ½ tsp
- White sesame – ½ tsp
- Curry leaves – 8-10
Method:-
- In a bowl add in the rawa Dahi, salt and water and mix well and rest for 10-15 mints
- Now add in green chilli, ginger, baking soda and mix well. Then add some more water to adjust the consistency
- Keep water in a steamer for steaming. Grease the pan and add in the batter. Add in the white sesame, red chilli powder and steam for 8-10 mints
- Check the dhokla by inserting the knife, remove and keep aside
- For Tadka
- heat oil in a pan add in the red chilli whole , mustard seeds, cumin seeds, white sesame and curry leaves and sauté for 1 mint
- Now pour this mixture over dhokla.
- Now cut the dhokla in a desire shape.
- Place it in a serving plate garnish it with chopped coriander and serve with mint chutney.
