Recipe Description
This traditional Punjabi dish Gobi mutter is a favourite vegetarian dish in all households
Ingredient Quantity
Cauliflower florets 1 no. (Small)
Green peas 1 cup
Oil 2 tbsp
Onions chopped 1 no large
Ginger and garlic paste 1 tsp
Turmeric powder ½ tsp
Red chilli powder 1tsp
Salt to taste
Green chillies chopped 2-3 no.
Tomato cubes 2 no.
Fresh coriander leaves chopped 2 tbsp
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Ginger juliennes 1tbsp
Method:-
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add in the cumin seeds and sauté till cumin splutter.
- Add ginger juliennes, green chilli chopped, onions, mix well and sauté for 2-3min. or till onions are lightly brown.
- Add ginger and garlic paste, mix well.
- Add tomatoes, cauliflower, green peas and mix well.
- Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and mix well and sauté for 2-3 mins.
- Add water, mix well and cover and cook for 8-10 mins or until dry.
- Lastly add chopped coriander and mix well.
- Remove it in a serving bowl and garnish with coriander sprig, ginger juliennes.
- Serve hot.
