Chilli Masala Prawns

Ingredients Quantity
Ginger 2 inch
Garlic 12-15 nos
Fresh red chilli 4-5 nos
Oil 2-4 tbsp
Star anise 1 nos
Cumin seed 1 tsp
Coconut slices 1 cup
Green chill 2 nos
Salt to taste
Turmeric powder ½ tsp
Coriander powder 1 tbsp
Garam masala ½ tsp
Prawns 250 gm
Coriander leaves ¼ bunch
Lemon juice ½ nos
Coriander sprig for garnish
Method :
1. On a cutting board take ginger and cut it into slice and transfer it into smaller grinding stone .
2. Now add garlic pods and crush it together until it turn into fine paste 3. Now take fresh red chilli and roughly chop it , transfer it on bigger grinding stone and crush it nicely until fine paste .
4. Heat a kadhai , add oil , star anise , cumin seed allow it to splutter .
5. Now add crushed ginger garlic into the kadhai and sauté it well on a low flame .
6. Meanwhile take coconut slice and crush it thoroughly on smaller grinding stone .
7. Now transfer the crushed coconut slices on bigger grinding stone and crush it until it become fine paste .
8. Simultaneously cut and add green chilli , red chilli coconut paste , mix and sauté it well .
9. Now add salt , turmeric powder , coriander powder , garam masala and mix it well .
10. Now add prawns , sauté and cook it well for 3-4 mins .
11. Now take coriander leaves , crush it in smaller grinding stone .
12. Now squeeze out the lemon juice and stir it well .
13. Now put over all mixture on the edges of the kadhai and allow it to loose out its moisture .
14. Now add crushed coriander leaves in between and mix it well .
15. Transfer it in a serving bowl , garnish it with coriander sprig .
16. Serve hot .
