Recipe Description

Ingredients                                                     Quantity
Arbi (Peeled, boiled and cut into cubed)          2 no.

Fresh green peas                                              1 cup

Mustard Oil                                                       2 tbsp

Dry red chilies                                                    2 no.

Cumin seeds                                                     1 tsp

Garlic chopped                                                  2 tsp

Onion chopped                                                  1 no.

Tomato chopped                                               1 no.

Turmeric powder                                              1/4 tsp

Red Chili powder                                              3/4 tsp

Garam masala                                                  1/2 tsp

Salt                                                                    to taste

Chopped coriander leaves                                2 tbsp

 

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a non stick pan and add dry red chilli and cumin seeds, mix well and sauté till cumin splutter.
  2. Add chopped garlic, mix well and sauté for 30 sec.
  3. Add chopped onion, mix well and sauté till they start turning brown.
  4. Add tomato and salt, mix well and sauté for 1 min.
  5. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder and garam masala, mix well and sauté for 2-3 min.
  6. Add arbi cubes, mix well and sauté for 1 min.
  7. Add green peas and mix well.
  8. Add 1 cup of water and cover and cook for 6-8 min.
  9. Add chopped coriander and mix well.
  10. Remove it in a serving bowl and serve hot.
