Recipe Description

Ginger and whole wheat flour halwa great recipe for winter

  • Jaggery roughly chopped 1cup
  • Dry Ginger powder2tbsp
  • Green Cardamom Powder1tsp
  • Fennel seed powder1 tsp
  • Ghee½ cup
  • Pistachios, finely chopped4-5 Nos For garnish
  • Whole Wheat flour1cup

 

Method :-

  1. In a pan add ½ cup ghee then add flour and cook it over a low flame until nicely toasted and it should be turn slightly brown.
  2. Once done then add dry ginger powder, green cardamom powder, and fennel powder.
  3. Mix it nicely for 3 min over a medium high heat.
  4. Now add grated jaggery and cook it well until nicely mixed.
  5. Switch off the flame and remove it in a serving bowl.
  6. Serve it to your children and garnish it with some healthy nuts.
