Recipe Description

Malaidar nariyal kulfi.


  • Malai of 2 tender coconuts
  • Coconut powder – 1/2 cup
  • Milk – 1 litre
  • Sugar – 1/2 cup
  • Chopped pistachios – 2 tbsp



  1. Heat milk in a non stick pan. Simmer till it reduces to 1/3rd quantity. (approx 300 ml)
  2. Add sugar, coconut powder and mix well. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add pistachios. Finely chop the malai , add to the milk and mix well. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Pour the mixture into kulfi moulds and place in the freezer compartment overnight.
  5. Demould and serve.
