Recipe Description

Quick and easy south indian style potato preparation

Ingredient                                                      Quantity

Baby Potatoes, washed, boiled                        30 no

Onion cut into cubes                                        1 no. (Large)

Turmeric powder                                             ¾ tsp

Red chilli powder                                             1 tsp

Coriander powder                                            1½ tbsp

Salt                                                                  to taste

Oil                                                                    1 tbsp

Mustard seeds                                                 ½ tsp

Urad dal                                                           1 tsp

Curry leaves                                                     1sprig

Garlic cloves crushed                                      2-3 no.

 

Method:-

  1. Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds, curry leaves, garlic and sauté till garlic browns.
  2. Add onion cubes, Urad Dal, and sauté till urad dal browns.
  3. Add baby potatoes, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and Red chilli powder, salt and mix well.
  4. Remove in a serving bowl and garnish with coriander sprig.
  5. Serve hot.
