Recipe Description
Soya and fenugreek curry Indian style, perfect healthy dish for all occassions as shown by Celebrity Chef Harpal SIngh sokhi
Ingredients
- Soya Granules – 1 cup
- Methi chopped – 1 /2 cup
- Coriander powder – 1 1/2tbsp
- Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
- Garam masala powder – 1 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
- Green peas – 50 grms
- Onion chopped – 1 large
- Red chilli powder – 11/2 tsp
- Salt – to taste
- Tomatoes chopped – 1cup
- Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
- oil – 2 tbsp
- Qasoori methi – ½ tsp
Method
- Take a big bowl of water with soya granules and microwave for 3 ½ mint
- Heat oil in a pan and when it becomes hot, add cumin seeds once spluttered add chopped onions, salt and sauté till the onions light golden in color.
- Add ginger garlic paste and sauté for mint. Add in the chopped tomatoes and salt and cook it for 4-5 mints. Check the soya beans
- Add methi leaves and cook for another 6-8 minutes in slow flame.
- Add in red chilli pd, cumin pd, coriander pd, garam masala powder Cook it for 6-8 minutes.
- Add strained soya granules along with the green peas and water and mix well so that soya absorbs all spices. Once dried add Qasoori methi and mix well.
- Remove it in a serving bowl and garnish it with coriander leaves and ginger juliennes and serve hot chapattis.
