Ingredients Quantity
Arabi (boiled) 8-10 no.
Coriander powder 1½ tbsp.
Red chilli powder 1½ tsp
Cumin powder 1 tsp
Garam masala powder 1 tsp
Amchur powder 1½ tsp
Turmeric powder ½ tsp
Salt to taste
Refined flour 1 cup
Corn starch ½ cup
Bread crumbs 1 cup
Water as required
Oil for frying
Method:
- Wash and peel the Arabi and boil it.
- Once cool down, take a plastic bag, overlap the Arabi and press gently with your palm to flatten it.
- Marinate arbi with Coriander powder, Red chilli powder, Cumin powder, Garam masala powder, Amchur powder, Turmeric powder and salt, mix well and keep it in a refrigerator for 6-8 min.
- Take refine flour in a plate and keep it aside.
- Take Corn starch in a bowl add some water and make slurry. Keep it aside.
- Remove the marinated arbi from fridge, Dust some refined flour and deep into corn-starch slurry and then coat with bread crumbs evenly from all the sides.
- Deep fry in hot oil till crisp and golden brown in colour.
- Remove in absorbent paper.
- Place the fried arbi on serving plate, Sprinkle some chat masala, red chilli powder on top and serve hot.
