Recipe Description

Sticks of  and potato and mozzarella cheese in a crispy breadcrumb coating,a mouthwatering delicacie

Ingredients:-

  • Potatoes, boiled, peeled and mashed – 4 large
  • Mozzarella cheese, cut into fingers – 200 grams
  • Green chillies, finely chopped – 3-4
  • Onion, finely chopped – 1medium
  • White pepper powder – ½ teaspoon
  • Corn flour – 5tablespoons + for dusting
  • Salt – to taste
  • Breadcrumbs – 2 cups
  • Oil – to deep-fry
  • To serve
  • Cherry tomatoes, halved – 4-5
  • Fresh parsley sprig – 1
  • Pesto sauce – ½ cup

 

Method:-

  1. Put green chillies, potatoes, onion, white pepper powder, two tablespoons corn flour and salt in a bowl and mix well.
  1. Add water to remaining corn flour to make a batter.Spread the breadcrumbs in a plate.
  1. Heat sufficient rice bran oil in a kadai.
  1. Coat each cheese finger with the potato mixture.Dust them with dry cornflour, dip the min corn flour batter and then coat them with bread crumbs.
  1. Put them into hot oil and deep-fry till golden and crisp. Drain on an absorbent paper.
  1. Place the fingers on a serving plate, garnish with cherry tomatoes and parsleysprig and serve hot with pesto sauce.
