Recipe Description

The classic combination of butter and chocolate and fresh cream in this mouth watering bake dessert

Ingredients:-

  • Salted peanut – 1 cup
  • Chocolate bars – 8
  • Refined flour – 2 cups
  • Butter – ¼ cup
  • Sugar – 3 tablespoons
  • Cinnamon powder – ¼ teaspoon
  • Fresh cream – 2 cups

 

 

Method:-

  1. Preheat the oven to 180° C.
  2. Mix together refined flour, butter, sugar and cinnamon powder in a bowl and rub with your fingertips till the mixture resembles breadcrumbs or gets a sandy consistency. Add sufficient water and knead into semi stiff dough.
  3. Press the dough into a tart mould. Prick lightly with a fork. Bake in the preheated oven for 16-18 minutes.
  4. Remove from the oven, cool and separate from the mould.
  5. Heat cream in a non-stick pan. Break chocolate bars into small pieces and add to the cream and cook till the chocolate melts.
  6. Add peanuts and mix well. Spread the mixture in the tart shell and keep in the refrigerator to set.
  7. Cut into wedges, arrange on a serving plate and serve.
