Recipe Description


  • Lychee – 15 nos
  • Rice Soaked – 1/2 cup
  • MIlk – 3 cups
  • Sugar – 4 tbsp
  • Assorted nuts – 3 tbsp
  • Saffron – few strands
  • Green cardamom powder – a pinch
  • Rose essence – 1 tsp
  • Ghee – 1 tbsp

How to make Lychee Kheer Recipe (Method)

  1. Heat ghee in a pan,add assorted nuts saute till it gets little brown, now in a blender grind the soked rice by adding little milk, and grind coarsely
  2. Now add rice and milk now cook until the rice gets soft for 15- 20 minutes stir constantly so that the rice does not settle down and gets burnt
  3. Now peel and de-seed the lychee and keep it aside,when the Kheer is little thick add sugar,saffron,green cardamom powder and mix it up well,add rose essence and lychee and boil for few minutes
  4. Now remove it in a bowl and garnish with rose petals and serve
