Recipe Description

Cumin potatoes(Jeera Aloo), the most searched recipe and the most ordered recipe in any restaurant. This is so simple and delicious that you cannot miss trying out

Ingredients

  • Potato boiled and cut in cubes – 4-5
  • Cumin seeds – 1 tbsp
  • hing – 1 /2tsp
  • Chopped ginger – 1 1/2tsp
  • Chopped green chilli – 4-5
  • Turmeric powder -1 tsp
  • Coriander powder – 1tsp
  • Coriander chopped – 2 tbsp
  • salt – To taste
  • Amchur powder – 1 tsp

 

Method

  1. Heat oil in a pan add in the cumin seeds and sauté. Add in the hing, chopped ginger garlic, ginger, green chilli and sauté well. Add in the turmeric, salt, coriander powder and sauté well.
  2. Add in the potatoes and tossed well.
  3. Add amchur powder chopped coriander and mix well.
  4. Remove it in a serving bowl and serve hot.
