This Indian breakfast bread is a delight to have with chutney..
Ingredient Quantity
Oil 1 Tbsp
Gobi grated (cauliflower) 2 cups
Carom seeds (Ajwain) ½ tsp
Ginger chopped 1 tsp
Green chillies chopped 3-4nos
Turmeric powder ½ tsp
Red chilli powder ½ tsp
Parantha masala 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Ghee 3-4 Tbsp
Whole wheat flour 6 cups
Ajwain (carom seeds) 1 tsp
Method:
- Make dough with ajwain and flour salt and water. Apply little oil and cover with a damp cloth and rest it for 15 mins.
- In a pan heat 1 Tbsp Oil.
- In a mixing bowl grate cauliflower.
- Add Carom seeds, ginger, green chilli, grated cauliflower to the pan. Sauté for 3-4 mins.
- Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, paratha masala, salt and mix well.
- Once the cauliflower is cooked remove in a bowl.
- Now divide the dough into equal parts. Take one portion and roll the dough. Now place the spoonful of mixture in the center. Sealed the edges and roll it back
- Place the paratha on the pan and cook from both sides, brush ghee in between.
- Remove the paratha from the heat, and serve hot with chutney, potato subzi,
