Recipe Description

This Indian breakfast bread is a delight to have with chutney..

Ingredient                                          Quantity

Oil                                                       1 Tbsp

Gobi grated (cauliflower)                      2 cups

Carom seeds (Ajwain)                          ½ tsp

Ginger chopped                                   1 tsp

Green chillies chopped                        3-4nos

Turmeric powder                                 ½ tsp

Red chilli powder                                 ½ tsp

Parantha masala                                 2 tbsp

Salt                                                      to taste

Ghee                                                   3-4 Tbsp

Whole wheat flour                               6 cups

Ajwain (carom seeds)                         1 tsp

 

Method:

  1. Make dough with ajwain and flour salt and water. Apply little oil and cover with a damp cloth and rest it for 15 mins.
  2. In a pan heat 1 Tbsp Oil.
  3. In a mixing bowl grate cauliflower.
  4. Add Carom seeds, ginger, green chilli, grated cauliflower to the pan. Sauté for 3-4 mins.
  5. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, paratha masala, salt and mix well.
  6. Once the cauliflower is cooked remove in a bowl.
  7. Now divide the dough into equal parts. Take one portion and roll the dough. Now place the spoonful of mixture in the center. Sealed the edges and roll it back
  8. Place the paratha on the pan and cook from both sides, brush ghee in between.
  9. Remove the paratha from the heat, and serve hot with chutney, potato subzi,
