Recipe Description
- Refined flour – 175 gms
- Baking soda – ½ tsp
- Dry ginger powder – 1 tsp
- Cinnamon powder – ¼ cup
- Butter – ¼ cup
- Brown sugar – 1/4 cup
- Egg – 1/2 no
- Honey – 2 tbsp
- For Garnish:-
- White chocolate – strands
METHOD
- Sieve together flour, baking soda, ginger powder and cinnamon powder.
- Mix it in a bowl.
- Add butter & mix until it looks like crumbs, later stir in the sugar to it.
- Lightly beat the egg and honey together.
- Mix well until it clubs together.
- Remove the dough in a flat surface and knead until smooth.
- Wrap it in a clean foil and rest it to chill in refrigerator for next 15 mins.
- Pre heat oven at 180 degree C.
- Roll out the dough flat rectangular shape and cut as desired shapes by cutter.
- Place it on a greased butter paper baking tray and bake it at 180 degree C for 15 mins.
- When golden brown in colour, remove and let it cool.
- Decorate it as desired and serve.
