Recipe Description

Rich in protein soya nuggets and black gram cooked with fresh coconut and spices.

 

Ingredients:-

  • Black chana, soaked, and boiled – 2 cups
  • Soya nuggets, soaked – 1/2 cup
  • Ghee – 2 tbsp
  • Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
  • Green chili, slit – 2-3 no
  • Onions, chopped – 2 no
  • Ginger garlic paste – 2 tbsp
  • Tomato, chopped – 1
  • Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
  • Amchoor powder – 1 tsp
  • Grated fresh coconut – 2 tbsp
  • Fresh coriander, finely chopped – 1/2 cup
  • Salt – to taste

 

Method:-

  1. Heat oil in kadai add ghee, cumin seeds, green chilies and allow it to splutter
  2. Add onion and cook until translucent.
  3. Add ginger garlic paste and cook until raw flavor is gone.
  4. Add in turmeric powder, red chili powder and saute it.
  5. Add tomatoes and cook it.
  6. Add boiled black chana, soya nuggets and salt and cook it for 3-5 minutes covering with lid on. Lastly add amchoor powder, fresh coconut and coriander leaves and stir well.
  7. Serve hot.
